Some key assignments during his military career included a Management Engineering Specialist and later the Chief of the Administrative Division for the Air Force Weapons Lab; The Chief of the Taipei Aerial Mail Terminal; a Publication Inspector for the GAO Air Force Inspector; and the Base Administrative Manager during his last assignment in Guam.
Frank received numerous awards including an Air Force Commendation Medal for Meritorious Services; an Air Force Commendation for Meritorious Services, Chief, Taipei Aerial Mail Terminal Foreign Technology Division in 1968 for his intelligence work; a National Defense Service Medal; a Korean Service Medal; a United Nations Service Medal; and the Air Force Longevity Service Award.
